Film Care Instructions:

The premium paint protection system has been designed to provide years of service when properly maintained. The surface of the film has a coating similar to the clear coat used on your vehicle’s finish; the film’s finish should be cared for in the same manner. Autoshield recommends a high quality non-abrasive liquid wax to be applied with a soft applicator on a regular basis. Insects, birds, or road residue should be removed promptly to reduce the possibility of staining. When waxing your vehicle, avoid waxes that contain dyes and other chemicals such as naphtha or kerosene due to the fact that they may discolor or degloss the film over a period of time. In a case when there is damage to the car, it will leave marks on the clear bra instead of the paint on the vehicle. Therefor you only have to remove the old clear bra and have a new one re-applied for a much lower cost rather than normal costs for re-painting that portion of the car.
